Set up almost 25 years ago, Trans India Holidays is a brick and mortar Inbound Tour company, based in New Delhi, India. We commenced operations in the year 1990, with a small office and just four dedicated personnel. First year revenues stood at INR 10 million. 23 years later, the year 2013, saw us achieve a revenue target of almost INR 1000 million, and we now have a team of almost a 100 dedicated personnel at our Headquarters in New Delhi. In addition, Trans India Holidays has representatives and local offices spread across the length and breadth of the Indian sub-continent. Relationships with Hotels - Trans India Holidays has excellent working relationships with a large number of hotels spread across India, Nepal and Bhutan, and we offer our clients a variety of accommodation, ranging from basic 2 star Hotels and Guest houses, to the finest Luxury hotels. One thing that sets us apart, is the fact that every hotel, or even smaller lodging that we use and recommend, has been personally visited and inspected by a senior member of our staff, so quality standards are carefully monitored, and so are the standards of safety and hygiene.
Luxury transportation Trans India Holidays operates it's own fleet of luxury vehicles almost throughout India. Our fleet of vehicles is driven by English speaking (basic English) Chauffers, all with impeccable credentials and excellent safety records. Our fleet of vehicles is equipped with safety and comfort features at par with western standards, and none of our vehicles are over 3 years old.

Kapil Goswamy : Founder and Managing Director
After having worked for a couple of large tourism organizations, including Mercury Travels (part of the Oberoi Hotels) and Dex Travels (part of the Delhi Express Group) Kapil Goswamy founded Trans India Holidays way back in1990. From humble beginings 25 years ago, he has led and continues to lead the organization, making it one of the largest Inbound Operators / DMC's in the Indian sub continent. Known for his hands on management style and attention to detail, Kapil Goswamy follows the motto " to give our clients the best value for their money and to show travellers the finest of what the sub continent has to offer, in the most secure, safe and honest manner"
Rajesh Kaushik : General Manager and Head of Operations
Rajesh began his career with Yeti Travels, Nepal, after his Masters Degree in Tourism. It was followed by a small stint with Travel Corporation of India (TCI), before joining Trans India Holidays, way back in 1998. He has been part of the core team of Trans India Holidays for more than 15 years now. Heading a team of all most 50 tour operations staff, he also has overall responsibility for quality control, client management and contracting.
Robert Hardless : Sales Manager (UK , Ireland and Northern Europe)
A tourism professional with over 40 years of experience, Robert began his career working for BOAC (the forerunner to British Airways) after which he worked for Qantas, Ansett and a couple of other airlines, before setting up his own representations business in 1991. Robert has been representing Trans India Holidays since 2008, and is responsible for maintaining key relationships in his area of operation.
Giancarlo Truffa : Sales Manager (Italy and Spain)
A tourism professional with almost 30 years of experience, Giancarlo has been representing Trans India Holidays in the Italian and Spanish markets since 2008.
Ashu Gupta :
Ashu has been with Trans India Holidays since 2000, and now heads a team of almost 20 operations staff and is responsible for several key accounts and maintenance of quality control.
Atul Shrivastava :
Atul, with a Master Degree in Tourism, has been with Trans India Holidays since 2008, and now heads a team of almost 20 operations staff and is responsible for several key accounts.
Jitendra Kumar :
Jitendra (JK as we all call him) has been with Trans India Holidays since 2005, is responsible for client meet and greet services and all logistic requirements.
Awards And Accolades -
The year 2014 is going very well for us, and we have been recognized at several prestigious forums. In the last couple of months, we have received the “Worldwide Achiever Award for Service Excellence in Tourism” as well as the “Taj Travel Award” in recognition of our outstanding contributions in the field of Inbound Tourism.
Also, KapilGoswamy, the Managing Director of Trans India Holidays was nominated to the ET Now Leaders of Tomorrow for the year 2012. This was featured on National television and telecast on major business and news related channels during December'2012
More recently, during end February'2014, Trans India Holidays won it's second consecutive National Tourism Award, this time for outstanding performance during the year 2012-13. The award was presented by Dr.Shashi Tharoor, Union Minister in the Government of India.
