Cochin City DescriptionsCochin or Kochi as it is now called, is the commercial capital of the Southern Indian State of Kerala, is sometimes referred to as the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’.   • By Road - Cochin serves as the Gateway to Northern Kerala, and is connected by fairly good highways with Kumarakom (85 kms), Munnar (160 kms) and Periyar (200 kms)
