New Delhi is a great place to begin your exploration of the culture of India. The national capital makes it possible for you to visit some of the most famed sights in the north and west.
Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
On your first day in Delhi you are free to spend the day at leisure depending on what time you arrive. Soak in the sights and sounds and get ready to explore it the next day.
Day 02 – In Delhi
India cultural tours of Delhi will show you its vibrant mix of old and new. Catch glimpse of the various rulers through the ages in your visits to the Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Jama Masjid and many other such sites.
Day 03 –Drive Delhi - Agra (220 kms/04 hrs)
Begin your drive from Delhi to Agra in the morning. Here you will visit the Agra Fort and one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal.
Day 04 -Drive Agra - Jaipur (250 kms/05 hrs)
You will then set out to Jaipur, however on the way you will stop at the famous Fatehpur Sikhri, the city built with red sand stone. The site is virtually untouched.
Day 05 –In Jaipur
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, also called the ‘Pink City’, you will discover is like no other. Part of you India cultural tours includes visits to the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace and the Amber fort which will leave you breathless.
Day 06 –Drive Jaipur – Jodhpur (330 kms/07 hrs)
Smaller than Jaipur but still large enough your next stop is Jodhpur, also the erstwhile capital of the Rathore kingdom.
Day 07 –In Jodhpur
Jodhpur’s most prominent cultural site is the Mehrangarh Fort. Situated on a hill in the centre of the town you will see that it distinguishes this vibrant city. Also worth visiting will be the Jaswant Thaada.
Day 08 –Drive Jodhpur – Udaipur (275 kms / 6 hrs)
From Jodhpur, India cultural tours takes you to the last city on your agenda, Udaipur. This beautiful lake city is an excellent way to experience the era of the Rajputs and their lifestyle.
Day 09 –In Udaipur
On your guided tour of Udaipur you will be shown the City Palace, Lake Pichola, the Jagdish Temple and Sahilion ki bari. All of these sights are more beautiful than the other.
Day 10 –Fly Udaipur - Delhi
Udaipur marks the end of your India cultural tours and from here you will fly on back to the capital New Delhi. You can spend the day at your leisure and explore this great city or you could go shopping for mementos of your trip.
Day 11 –Depart Delhi
You will still have one last morning to enjoy all you can get of Delhi. Once you check out of your hotel in the afternoon you will be guided to your airport transfer.
