If you are visiting India for the first time, the tour ‘Cultural Holidays India’ should be a good tour to start with since it covers almost all the historical places of significance in North India.
Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
Once you arrive in Delhi, right from the airport, you will be taken care of by a representative of the tour company who arranged your Cultural Holidays India tour package. They will collect you from the airport and take you to the hotel.
Day 02 – In Delhi
You will be taken to see parts of Old Delhi and parts of New Delhi.In Delhi, the Cultural Holidays India tour will cover the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Birla Mandir, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Humayun’s tomb, Qutub Minar and Bahai’s temple.
Day 03 –Drive Delhi - Agra (220 kms/04 hrs)
Today, you will drive to Agra to see the world famous Taj Mahal and then the Agra Fort.
Day 04 -Drive Agra - Jaipur (250 kms/05 hrs)
Your next stop is Jaipur via a guided tour of Fatehpur Sikri. Jaipur- more commonly referred to as the ‘Pink City’ is the capital of a place called Rajasthan. The entire city is built with pink stone. This city is also a good place to shop.
Day 05 – In Jaipur
In Jaipur, the Cultural Holidays India tour will take you to visit Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar which is an Observatory and Amber Fort.
Day 06 – Drive Jaipur – Jodhpur (330 kms/07 hrs)
You will be driving down to Jodhpur or the ‘Blue City’. It is situated very close to the Thar Desert. There is no sightseeing planned and so you can relax at the hotel.
Day 07 –In Jodhpur
The tour will include visiting Mehrangarh Fort, considered the best Fort in entire Rajasthan and Jaswant Thaada- made of white marble.
Day 08 –Drive Jodhpur – Udaipur (275 kms / 6 hrs)
You will be driving to the city of Udaipur from Jodhpur. This city with its numerous lakes and gardens is referred to as the ‘City of Sunrise’.
Day 09 –In Udaipur
In Udaipur, you will visit the City Palace, the Jagdish Temple, the beautiful Saheliyon ki bari garden and Lake Pichola where you can take a boat ride and see the palaces on the island.
Day 10 –Fly Udaipur – Delhi
You will fly to Delhi and will be left to do whatever suits your fancy today. You can shop or you just relax at the hotel.
Day 11 –Depart Delhi
In the morning, catch up with all that you have seen and done. After you check out at noon, you will be driven to the airport.
