The five day tour package to Ladakh will take to Leh which is at a height of 11,000 feet. You will visit the Nubra Valley and cross the Khardongla pass. This is an experience of a lifetime brought to you by the Leh Ladakh Tour packages.
Day 01 – Arrive Leh
Once you arrive at the airport in Leh, you will be taken to your hotel by the Trans India Holidays representative.
Leh, Ladakh’s capital, has a nine storey Namgyal Palase and a Tsemo, the victory peak. You can spend your first day by getting used to the place as there is nothing scheduled for the day
Day 02 – In Leh
After an overnight stay at Leh and a filling breakfast, you will be taken on a guided tour of the monasteries of the Indus Valley by the Leh Ladakh Tour Packages.
On this tour, you will visit Thiksey Gompa, one of the largest Gompas, Shey Palaca and Gompa where a 7.5 mt. high statue of Buddha can be seen and Hemis Gompa, the wealthiest Gompa in the Whole of Ladakh. You will also be shown a typical Ladakhi house, built of mud bricks. You can also try on the traditional dress of Ladakhi and photograph yourself.
Day 03 –Drive Leh – Nubra Valley (125 kms/05 hrs)
From Leh we start on the drive to Nubra Valley after breakfast where the average altitude is about 10,000 feet. On your way here, you will go past the Khardungla Pass. Once at the Nubra Valley, you will be helped with the checking in by a Leh Ladakh Tour Packages representative.
A guided tour will be arranged in the afternoon and you will be taken to visit the Deskit Village, Deskit Gompa and Hundar Village. From the Gompa, the view of the valley is spectacular. You can visit the monastery and the fort in Hundar Village and go for a ride on the double hump camels.
Day 04 -Drive Nubra Valley - Leh (125 kms/05 hrs)
After the overnight stay on Nubra, you will be visiting the Samstanling Monastery. Samstanling Gompa is 132 years old and has about 60 monks. Once this is done, you will drive back to Leh, enjoying the same drive through the world’s highest motorable road of Khardungla.
After you have returned to Leh and checked in, you have nothing else scheduled for you for the rest of the day and are free to explore the rest of Leh. The Leh Bazaar is a great place to collect souvenirs. You can also visit Leh Jokhang or Leh Mosque.
Day 05 –Depart Leh
After spending your last night of the 5 day tour from Leh Ladakh Tour Packages, you will be taken to the airport for your flight back to Delhi.
