This lovely little hill station in the Eastern Himalayas was established as a summer retreat for those members of the British Raj based in Calcutta. After breakfast at your hotel proceed for a sightseeing tour of the town visiting the Himalayan Mountaineering institute with its photographs of various mountaineering expeditions, the Tibetan Refugee Self help centre where one can see traditional Tibetan Habdicrafts being made.
