The tour of Khajuraho starts with a visit to the Western group of Temples consisting of the massive Lakhshmana Temple dedicated to lord Vishnu, the lakshmi and Varaha temples dedicated to Vishnu`s consort lakshm, the Khandariya mahadev temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Chausath Yogini temple dedicated to goddess Kali.

Proceed on to the Archaelogical museum with its collection of stone sculptures of the Chandela dynasty.

Proceed on to the Eastern group of Temples and visit the Jain temples of Parsvnath,Adinath,Shanti nath.

From there on proceed to the Hindu temples of Vamana and Brahma/Hanuman both dedicated to lord Vishnu.
