About the train
India's first and most famous luxury train, the Palace on Wheels, has been operating for over 20 years now. Till date, it continues to be the most popular amongst the luxury trains in India. Originally, the Palace on Wheels coaches only had one category of cabin, but recently refurbished also includes a second category of Super Deluxe cabins with larger spaces and have double beds. Also, bookings for these cabins also come with their own driver and guide.
