Set up almost 30 years ago, Trans India Holidays is a brick and mortar Inbound Tour company, based in New Delhi, India. We commenced operations in the year 1990, with a small office and just four dedicated personnel. First year revenues stood at INR 10 million. Over the years, we achieve a revenue target of almost INR 600 million and we now have a team of almost a 100 dedicated personnel at our headquarters in New Delhi. Our committed efforts brought us awards, accolades and many more praises over the years. We were the declared winner of National Tourism Award for five years - 2011-12, 2012-13, 2014-15, 2015-16 & 2017-18 . In addition, Trans India Holidays has representatives and local offices spread across the length and breadth of the Indian sub-continent.

After having worked for a couple of large tourism organizations, including Mercury Travels (part of the Oberoi Hotels) and Dex Travels (part of the Delhi Express Group) Kapil Goswamy founded Trans India Holidays way back in 1990. From humble beginnings 29 years ago, he has led and continues to lead the organization, making it one of the largest Inbound Operators / DMC's in the Indian subcontinent. On Friday, 27th of September 2019, Trans India Holidays was awarded its fifth National Tourism Award for the year 2017-18 presented by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. We were honored with the First Prize as the Best Inbound Tour Operator/ Travel Agent in Category II.
On Wednesday The 27th Of Sep 2017, Trans India Holidays received its fourth National Tourism Award, this time for outstanding performance during 2015-16. The award was presented by Mr. K J Alfonso, The Union Minister For Tourism In The Govt Of India at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
On Monday the 29th of August, we were awarded the prestigious “Taj Travel Award” by the Taj Group of hotels, for outstanding sales performance for their Beach Resorts during 2014-16.
On Saturday the 30th of July 2016, Trans India Holidays was awarded its third National Tourism Award, this time for outstanding performance during 2014-15. The award was presented by the Hon'ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha and the Hon'ble Minister for Tourism at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi .

At a glittering ceremony held at the Oberoi Gurgaon a few days ago, Trans India Holidays was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Oberoi Group, in recognition of our outstanding contribution to the Oberoi and Trident Hotels. We are both proud and humbled by the award, as we look forward to many more years of working closely with the Oberoi Group, India's leading chain of world class luxury hotels.
During 2014 Trans India Holidays was recognized at several prestigious forums. We received the “Worldwide Achiever Award for Service Excellence in Tourism” as well as the “Taj Travel Award” in recognition of our outstanding contributions in the field of Inbound Tourism.
During end February'2014, Trans India Holidays won its second consecutive National Tourism Award, this time for outstanding performance during the year 2012-13. The award was presented by Dr.Shashi Tharoor, Union Minister in the Government of India.
2012 – 13 have been great years for Trans India Holidays, with several momentous landmarks having been achieved. First and foremost, Trans India Holidays was awarded the National Tourism Award for outstanding performance during the year 2011-12. This award was presented by the President of India.
